The 8g tube is ideal for caring for and repairing your TZIP zipper on your packraft, dry suit or bow bags.

So that your zippers always open and close smoothly and no damage occurs (due to pulling too hard), they must be lubricated regularly.

We recommend that you take the following tips into account when handling our TIZIP® zippers:

• Activate the slider carefully. Pulling at an angle can negatively affect the tightness of the zippers or otherwise.
• Avoid overstretching the ports and end pieces. Do not forcefully pull the two sides of the zipper apart.
• Be careful not to fold or squeeze the zippers. This can reduce the functionality.
• Close each zipper so that the slider is correctly in the port to ensure a tight seal.

• TIZIP® zippers should be stored completely closed and without bending.
• The open storage can cause curves and thus lead to leaks.
• Make sure that the zipper is always stored dry and clean.
• Avoid high humidity and temperatures.
• If possible, work according to the FIFO principle in order to use the zippers purchased first.

• We recommend cleaning all of our TIZIP® zippers with soapy water and a fine brush.
• Do not use solvents or aggressive cleaning agents as these can negatively affect the functionality of the zipper.
• Dirty particles, especially between the teeth, can influence the sealing lip and thus impair the seal.
• If your TIZIP® is used to protect life or material, the user is obliged to check the sealing function before use.

• If lubrication with sliding grease is necessary, please use the original from TIZIP® (lubrication instructions are included).
• Please clean the zipper in advance. Proper lubrication before use of all TIZIP® types is crucial for the functionality of the zippers. SuperSeal zippers must be greased along the coupling links and the sealing lip.
• After greasing, open and close the closure along its entire length at least five times.
